Terms and conditions
Version June 2026. This is a courtesy translation; the Dutch version is legally binding.
1. Who these terms apply to
We build websites for entrepreneurs and companies (business customers). These terms apply to all our quotes, trial websites and agreements. All prices mentioned exclude VAT.
2. The trial website
We sometimes build a trial website for a business in advance, based on publicly available information. No strings attached: it is a non-binding example. An agreement only comes into existence when you accept a quote. Want us to take the trial website offline? We do so immediately after one message.
3. Delivery and revisions
- After your approval, receipt of the required information and receipt of payment, your site is live on your own domain within one working day.
- Included revision rounds: one with the Website package, two with Multiple pages, three with Custom. Extra rounds are possible at the then-current rate.
- A revision round is one collected set of changes that we apply in one go.
4. Hosting, support and domain
- Hosting and support are invoiced monthly and can be cancelled monthly. Pay a year upfront and you get a 20% discount.
- Support covers simple questions and up to two small changes per calendar month. A small change is editing text (such as opening hours, a price or a sentence) or replacing an existing photo. Unused changes do not carry over to a next month.
- New sections or pages, design changes, new features and technical changes are not covered by support. That is extra work: you hear the cost upfront and nothing happens until you approve.
- Your domain name is registered and invoiced per year. We follow our registrar's rate plus a fixed management fee; registrar rates are adjusted yearly and we pass that on.
- Your website runs on our hosting. Transfer your domain name to us and going live is free; we help with the move and you only request a transfer code from your current provider.
- Prefer to keep your domain name with your own provider? Then we put the site live on your domain for a one-off 19 euros (excl. VAT). You change one setting at your provider once (or have it changed); we supply the exact instruction.
- Every delivery is complete: including the technical basis to be findable in search engines (such as a sitemap and correct metadata).
5. How changes work with us
Your website does not run on a system like WordPress and has no admin panel. That is a deliberate choice: it makes your site lightning-fast, secure, and nothing goes stale. You do not make changes yourself; you request them from us by email. Small changes are part of your support plan; everything else is agreed with you upfront.
6. Payment
- One-off costs are paid after your approval, before going live. Once payment is received, we put your site live within one working day.
- If payment remains outstanding after a reminder, we may temporarily take the site offline until payment is received. Your site and files remain safely stored.
7. Who owns what
- Your texts, photos, logo and business information remain yours. You guarantee that you have the right to have the material you supply used.
- After full payment, you receive your site files upon termination. No lock-in: your site stays yours.
- We may show delivered websites in our portfolio. Rather not? One message and we take it out.
8. What you may expect from us (and where our responsibility ends)
- We do our work carefully and professionally, and aim for an uninterruptedly available site. Nobody can guarantee one hundred percent uptime.
- Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for indirect damage such as lost revenue.
- We take care of findability on Google as well as technically possible, but we cannot guarantee search engine rankings.
9. Webshops and custom work
We do not offer webshops as standard. Online payments, orders or other special features are possible as custom work by agreement, with clear arrangements about price and upkeep upfront.
10. Finally
Dutch law applies to our agreements. Something wrong? Email us first, we almost always work it out together.
